Four generations of responsibility
Dr. Bernhard Steiner — Správa nemovitostí spol. s r.o. is a family property management firm founded in Graz in 1920 and active in Prague since 1992. Today, the Prague firm is led by Mag. (FH) David T. Steiner, the fourth generation of the family.
Property management has remained at the centre of the business throughout that history. In Prague, we care for residential and commercial properties over the long term, bringing financial administration, technical oversight and day-to-day coordination together under one responsibility.
Continuity gives us more than a long record. It gives us the habit of looking beyond the immediate issue, advising owners clearly and remaining accountable for what follows.
Our history
From Graz to Prague
The firm has stayed in the family since 1920.
Karl Steiner establishes his property management firm in Graz, Austria.
The founder’s son, Kurt Steiner, takes over the growing family enterprise.
The founder’s grandson, Dr. Bernhard Steiner, becomes director. Under his leadership, the firm grows into one of Austria’s largest and most respected property management companies.
Dr. Bernhard Steiner earns the title of Academically Certified Real Estate Consultant from the University of Vienna.
Dr. Bernhard Steiner establishes a subsidiary in Prague. After relocating permanently to the city, he sells the Austrian management business and devotes himself fully to the Prague firm.
Dr. Bernhard Steiner’s son, Mag. (FH) David T. Steiner, joins Dr. Bernhard Steiner — Správa nemovitostí spol. s r.o. He brings a degree in Facility Management and practical experience gained at the Austrian management firm during his studies.
Mag. (FH) David T. Steiner, the firm’s current owner, takes over the management of Dr. Bernhard Steiner — Správa nemovitostí spol. s r.o.
After more than three decades in the Czech market, Dr. Bernhard Steiner — Správa nemovitostí spol. s r.o. manages residential and commercial properties and office centres throughout Prague for a diverse group of clients.
